Brianna William's Portfolio

Artist Statement:

          I was inspired to draw my piece because I searched on google for things made out of glass and an idea popped up in my head to draw a lightbulb. My decision has some irony to it because when someone gets an idea, the image that represents that is a lightbulb.

          I created my piece by first practicing how to color it on the back of the paper. Next, I lightly sketched everything out in pencil on the front. Then, I when over my sketch in white prism color pencil. After, I used an ultramarine prism color pencil to color the socket of the light bulb. Then, I color the light with yellow and highlighted with white. Lastly, I shaded the background in yellow.
