Brianna William's Portfolio

Artist Statement:

          The meaning behind my piece isn't really significant because I simply chose subject matter because I thought it was cool. I also liked that how my subject matter had bold colors such as red and black.

           To create my piece, I sketched it out in pencil. Next, I outlined it with oil pastel. At first, I didn't like the way it looked at this point because it had jagged lines. But then I just went over with more pastel using more pressure and it started to look better. I'm really proud of how my piece turned out because I disagreed with it in the beginning.
